Ziroh values the privacy and data security of the professional bio-researchers using X1 Scripter. This Privacy Policy outlines our data collection, processing, and protection practices.

1. Data Collection

We operate under a principle of strict data minimization.

  • Licensing and Commerce Data: When you purchase X1 Scripter, our payment processor and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, collects your payment information and email address.
  • Email Address: Ziroh only collects and stores the email address associated with your purchase. This email is strictly used for software licensing verification, delivering essential product updates, and customer support.
  • We do not collect names, laboratory affiliations, or physical addresses unless voluntarily provided during a customer support inquiry.

2. Data Processing and Scientific Data

Ziroh does not have access to your scientific data.

  • All biological data, assay results, 4PL analysis parameters, and generated scripts processed by X1 Scripter are handled entirely locally on your physical machine.
  • No scientific or experimental data is transmitted to, processed by, or stored on Ziroh's servers or any third-party cloud infrastructure.

3. Compliance with Global Standards (GDPR & CCPA)

We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  • Right to Access and Portability: You have the right to request a copy of the limited personal data (your email address) we hold.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request the deletion of your email address from our licensing database. Please note that doing so may revoke your access to the X1 Scripter software as active licensing cannot be verified.
  • Non-Discrimination: Ziroh will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record to securely handle all financial transactions and initial software delivery. We encourage you to review Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy regarding their handling of your financial data.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected by the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
